wellll, after nearly 17 hours of racing we withdrew from the race. navigation errors cost us a lot of time and my teammates (experienced mtn bikers fairly new to AR) were pretty worn out. still, we had lots of fun and learned a ton!

the race was billed as a 15-20 hour race, with approximately 65-70 miles of trekking, mtn biking, kayaking, rapelling (220'!), with navigation throughout. sadly, my curse of the rappel continued: the only 3 races i've never finished were the only ones to include ropes work, which i never even got to experience. i hope this ends soon!!
